The Syria Project: from a Dignity Revolution to War | 2017

Drawn from the book Burning Country – Syrians in Revolution and War written by Leila Al-Shami & Robin Yassin-Kassab, this series of works on paper charts some of the events that led to Syria descending into a convoluted war, becoming a playground for opposite forces and foreign influences. These works aim to underscore the human dimension of the Syrian conflict, which is often overlooked in the complexity of politics in the Middle East (for a lack of a better term) region.
